Probably the funniest performer I have seen at the Fringe, this is 'The' Sam Willis, a New Zealand contortionist/ juggler/ balancing act/ comic.
I've seen street artists play up for the camera before, but this is the first time I've ever become part of the show. After snapping away for a few minutes, the shutter tripped after a mistake he made, and before I knew it, the camera was taken off me, as Sam jumped about shouting "oh sure, snap at me when I make a b******s of it why don't ya? How d'you like it?!"
Then he 'threw' it back at me, keeping hold of the strap. I've never heard a louder gasp from an audience, and I've never been more glad to have accidental damage cover!
